Beloved of the Lord, my brothers and sisters at Trinity,
Since 1953, God has reached out to Bay County with the precious Good News of His grace in Jesus Christ through Trinity Lutheran Church. He has touched thousands of lives here and passionately longs to touch and transform many more through the ministry that He has entrusted to us.
However, we are crippled in our ability to disciple more people to Jesus by the fact that our worship, education, fellowship and parking facilities can accommodate only one third of our membership at any given time. In our first major step to address this issue, we adopted a Master Site Use Plan in 2009. We outlined how we will utilize our land to provide adequate facilities and parking to serve the sisters and brothers we have not yet met.
Now it is time to take the next step--and it is a big one! It starts with a careful appraisal of what Jesus has done for us and a fresh look at the calling He has given us each as well as our divine mission together. We will pray and we will ask one another for a sacrificial three-year commitment to fund the vision which our Lord has given Trinity. Now let us look forward together as we prepare our hearts and our place to bring a harvest of new believers to the throne of our God.
